Sponsors help Ribfest provide fun for local families

You might think Ribfest makes a lot of money off, well, the ribs. And while they are the big draw for Canada Day weekend (and delicious!), that's not the case. The oil that keeps this community celebration going comes from the beer tent, vendor table rentals, donations and our sponsors.

To pull off an event the size of Ribfest - which welcomes tens of thousands of guests to Memorial Park over its four-day run - we are fortunate that a handful of major sponsors and a dozens of small businesses step up, year after year, with monetary or in-kind donations. It truly is a community effort that enables us to offer free admission for a full weekend of family activities and music.

This year, in addition to support from the City of Hamilton, our major sponsors are Tasco Appliances Burlington (the VIP tent, Heritage Canada and Lafarge (Sunday night fireworks), Imperial (main stage) and The Dream Centre (Family Fun Zone).
